I joined Treakle at the end of 2006 after a mad one in Hemsby the Treakle holiday /rally.
I had met them a few times before hemsby 2005 Skegness etc etc and they always made me welcome and were such a genuine bunch of people who accepted me for being me no airs and graces needed. Having been looking for a club to join and living in Ilkeston Derbyshire along way from treakle head quarters I wonded if they would let me join as the local club in Ilkeston did not do much I needed a club who rode everywhere and parted hard so I asked the question and of course they let me in god help em.
And so now am a fully committed member of the Treakle family and that is what we are a family I love them all there company and there friendship, so if you see me in a field fast asleep you no you’ve met pissy please wake me up and say hello, if that fails just get ya pen and write on my face, lol treakle for life
